Hi guys ,

I am fiddling with 2015, actually did the first small project already and I am dying to put some of the new features into production.
Is there some in depth training for the 3D tracking for example available already ?
I am used to PFTrack and BouJou and somehow i am looking for more in depth tools to optimize the 3D space (make dependances , define flat surfaces, lens un-distortion...)

Hi Sascha,
I shouldn’t speak for Grant but he has said he is working on 3d tracking tutorials that will be posted on The Smoke Learning Channel on YouTube. I'm sure he will post a link once he had finished them.

I am working on the videos but I still look at the forums every so often to keep up to date with everyone.

I am working on a 3D tracking series which goes into great detail on all the options in 3D tracking. My example will include compositing a 3D model.

However, the example I will distribute is already undistorted. I mention that you need to undistorted the shot for a proper 3D track but I won't show it as I already did a few videos on removing distortion in Smoke a while back.

Its a quite a big project so patience is a virtue but I am sure most will be pleased with what they get :)

Coming soon ….

Regards
Grant
