I am attempting to export an AAF for ProTools for Audio sweetening, but ProTools fails to load 14 of the 135 files created, and the audio editor cannot determine why this is happening. The project is 10 minutes, 16 seconds long and it contains 3 mono audio tracks and 2 stereo tracks, and most clips have been adjusted with the audio Gain effect. Our workflow is to select the sequence, choose export, then choose a location, then choose Sequence Publish, then choose AAF for Avid Pro Tools (Audio only 24-bit WAVE). In advanced settings we choose Export Audio Media, Audio format is set to audio file, Media is set to use Original media, Tracks and Transitions is set to Flatten Tracks with Transitions, and include handles is set to 30 frames. We also did a version with tracks and transitions set to keep all tracks, but still had the problem linking 14 files to the audio project. We are using Smoke 2013 Ext 1.
Any suggestions would be appreciatated.
There's a known issue where Smoke 2013 X1 would incorrectly set the audio sampling rate to 48KHz for all audio segments in the AAF file, regardless of the true rate, and that prevented ProTools from linking audio segments that had a different rate.
