Hi.

Can you please zip up the /usr/discreet/log and /usr/discreet/sw/log folders and upload them to the forum? (click the floppy disk icon when you reply).

I'll look through the logs and see if there are any additional error messages that might help identify the issue. So far it sounds like a storage or stone+wire database issue. Is your storage full?

Is the "cache source media" option on when you import? If so, try with that option off.
You could also try creating a new project and see if the issue still occurs.

Regards,
Robert.

Hi.

Have you seen any improvement after having fixed permissions on the media storage? The logs indicate that permissions on /Volumes/A08S-14TB-04/ManagedFolder0 are the reason why Smoke can't create the frame files and .mio (source clip metadata) files.
What was the other error message you were concerned about? I did not find any other notable errors.

Regards,
Robert.

Hi Robert:

Sorry for late.

Thanks for your help.

I see the message

"smoke20132_smoke1_app.log.8:[error] 1891466432 projectUtils.C:5555 02/25/14:17:24:13.208 PRJMGT : Failed to open database file /usr/discreet/project/project.db: No such file or directory"

Because we install the new OS and Smoke.

I see some error in this log, and is it normal?

Best Regards,
Ted.
