Delete render files

Is there a way to delete render files from a project? I have multiple projects that I have finished but I haven't archived, but I am trying to finish up a project and I'm afraid I am going to run out of space on the final render, so I am looking for a way to go back to these projects that I am not working with right now and clear out all of the render files. When I right click on a sequence, and go to media, it gives me the option to "flush renders", but that doesn't appear to actually do anything. Thanks.

Flush Renders is what you want....but it's not instant. When You restart SMoke a background operation takes place called VIC (Volume integrity Check) This is what frees up the frames.

Flush renders... then shut down smoke and/or reboot your mac.

You can also try hitting Purge Frames button in Preferences>Storage.
