Photoshop has the ability to create 3d objects, has anyone been able to successfully export them from photoshop and use them in Action in Smoke 2013, where it is actually a 3d object and not just a flattened picture that looks 3d if you look at it straight on?

Hi,

If you are able to export an OBJ, 3DS or FBX model from photoshop, there is no reason why it could not be imported into Smoke.

You can export an obj... but that file is not loadable into Maya and it crashes Smoke. It will load into Cinema 4D and Cheetta 3d.
