Please could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I have a clip in a sequence that is both video and synced stereo audio.
When I cut the clip and go to move the cut clip, Smoke selects both clips and I'm forced to move both the newly cut clip and the remaining clip it was cut from.
I've tried turning off "Linked Selection" but this makes me have to manually select both the video & audio tracks of the cut clip and it turns editing and moving clips around to a very cumbersome process.
How do I get Smoke 2013 to behave like FCP used to when you could just cut a clip and move it around independently in the timeline with the audio attached ?
Why does smoke insist on keeping the newly cut clip connected to the remaining clip? I cut it for a reason and want to move it around independently.
