Importing Image Sequences
on Mar 22, 2013 at 7:01:36 am

I know this is going to wind up as a "Duh' post, but I'm having trouble importing an image sequence into Smoke. Mediahub sees the sequence as individual files, and importing into a folder again brings in each frame as an individual file.

Cant seem to figure out what I'm missing here...

Two things,

Make sure that the file sequence is sequential --- Image001, Image002, Image003 and so on.

Secondly, in the mediahub, you select the image sequence and go to the format specific options.

Change the pop-up button from METADATA to CLIP OPTIONS.

There you will see an option for sequence detection.

You can set it from FRAMES to SEQUENCE or visa versa.

Just remember to refresh the browser when you make a change to have the settings take effect.

Hope this helps!

Grant
