Hi,

Smoke does not have a 3D tracker to be able to track movement on a Z-plane.

However you can simulate it through scaling in the tracker.

Before entering the tracker from action or axis, you will see a few buttons below the STABILIZER button.

Turn on SCALE. When you go into the tracker you will have two tracker boxes.

You position them as far apart as possible.

When you do the track, the positioner data is taken from the first tracker.

The scaling is worked out from the distances between the first and second tracker boxes.

In most instances this will help you simulate the z-scale movement you are after after exiting the tracker.

Hope this helps!

Regards
Grant
