insert/overwite/replace/append, etc. only places video

In Smoke 2013, when i use the buttons to insert/overwrite/replace/append, etc. a clip from my source into my timeline, it only places the video track. In order to take the audio and video, I have to drag the clip from the source window to the timeline. Is there a way to toggle whether it takes everything or just audio or just video?

it should take it all. Are the tracks routed properly or locked?

As far as I know, everything is correct. It's a new project, and I haven't adjusted anything. Just 1 video track and 2 audio tracks. I am attaching a picture of my screen in case that's helpful. It has been like this since I Started using the program a month ago. If I manually drag the clip from the source window, it brings the audio and video with it, but if I use a button to place the footage for me, it only takes the video track. I have not adjusted or customized any of the settings that would affect this, everything should set to default settings.

I'll bet your Source Audio tracks are mono. You can't hotkey or edit mono audio into Stereo tracks. You can drag and drop it. Which is dumb, I know.

You can only hotkey/edit like audio to like audio tracks.

Crate a new sequence and change it to create 2 mono tracks.
Or add to mono tracks to you existing seq and delete the setero one.

Then I think you will be fine.
