Hi Craig.

1. Exit Smoke, open Terminal and type the following command (replace [project-name] with the actual project name):
cd /usr/discreet/clip/stonefs7/[project-name]/workspace*

2. Now type:
ls -l *.clib

3. This will list all the folders in your project. You'll find several entries for each folder. The one numbered 000.clib is the most recent version of that folder. The ones named 001, 002 and so on are previous auto-saves of that folder.

4. Look at the dates and time of each previous auto-save of your folder and hopefully you'll find one from before the error.

5. Now back-up your current version of the folder just in case. Type the following command (replace [name] with the actual name):
cp [name].000.clib [name].000.clib.backup

6. Now copy the older version over the current one: (let's say you found that 003.clib was from before the error):
cp [name].003.clib [name].000.clib.backup

7. Close the Terminal and start Smoke and see if that brought back the lost work.

8. If you encounter any errors, corruption messages and such, you can restore the 000.clib file from the backup you've created in the Terminal:
cp [name].000.clib.backup [name].000.clib

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Robert.
