Hey everyone,

How do you make a freeze frame while in Action?

Thanks,
Aaron

A few ways:
#1 Select your media layer and to the left you can LOCK FRONT. This will create a freeze frame throughout.

2. If you Media layer is being feed via the CFX schematic, then it's easy to use the MUX node, where you can set a range of frames... set your out frame to be the frame you want to freeze.

Thanks Brian!

I got the second method to work. I didn't know where to look to find my media layers to lock the front (I'm pretty new to action).

Click on the MEDIA button to see the Media Layer UI full.
Select your media layer... to the left (I said "right" before, oops)
You sill see FRONT ON, BACK ON, MATE ON. You can change FRONT ON to FRONT LOCK. This will lock the frame currently viewed in the time bar..
