Smoke 2013 Paint Brush Offset

Hey guys,

I was wanting to try out the clone tool to paint out a fly in some footage I have, but I can’t get the clone tool to grab a sample region. I hold down ctrl and click where I want to sample from, but the green circle doesn’t appear. I can do it by manually offsetting it with the x and Y position, but I’d like to do it with my pen. Is there something I’m missing?

Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

We are aware there is an issue with paint and the Smoke 2013 keyboard shortcuts.

You can do one of two things for the moment.

You can either remap the clone offset shortcut using the shortcut editor
or you can use the Smoke classic keyboard shortcuts by switching them in your user settings.

Regards
Grant

Hey Grant,

I couldn't find the shortcut to change in the keyboard shortcut editor, but I tried changing it to the Smoke hotkeys and it worked perfectly!

Also, thanks for all the awesome tutorials!

Thanks a ton.
Aaron
