I haven't done any "real" projects yet. I'm a just playing around to learn. A little gun shy to do a real, or like a demo reel due to the fact it might not have any forward compatibility. (but i'm okay with that, I completely understand)

Once I get something neat ill post.

Cool.

With PR2 it should be easier for people to work on more serious stuff in Smoke2013. It should be more stable and export should be solid.

Look forward to seeing some examples of what people are doing in Smoke.

@Marc. How confident do you feel about the projects staying readable moving forward to release? I am scared to work with Smoke too much on anything real because I am worried that I won't be able to get back to projects and open them. Right now if we had work in PR1 we wouldn't be able to open it in PR2.

We know that it's important to be able to move projects from one pre-release version to another, and we've asked our development team to make this a priority.

Not sure if that means seamless project compatibility or a data migration tool to move project data to subsequent builds, but we will do our best to ensure that no one gets stuck again. We're sorry it happened with PR1 to PR2.

Thanks man for the fast response. I would be totally stoked with a data migration tool, just a way that if i needed to get back to the work, i could. Clients always come back and want changes!
