Anyway to select all in timeline?

Anyway to select all in timeline?

Everytme I select all, it selects the whole media library.

Using the Smoke Classic keyboard shortcuts hitting the / key on the numeric pad should select everything in the timeline. Is that what you are looking for?

I was using fcp7 presets but I'll give it a shot. At least I know it's possible.

Shift + Command + A

To deselect press * on the numeric pad

You can also tap the track headers (same area where the mute/lock buttons are).. and select everything in the track.. I think you can select and deselect the same way.. it's also good if you lasso around a group of clips in a timeline.. then you can deselect the tracks you don't want by clicking on the tracks.
