Wacom Question 2
on Jun 15, 2012 at 7:48:18 pm

Why do my pen buttons not work as expected?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to control or option (right) click with my pen instead of having to use the keyboard?

It would be nice if the Wacom control panel could work in Smoke so I can customize what I need and like.

They don't. All the Wacom controls are overridden by Autodesk. I'm hoping this changes moving forward, but it didn't sound like it was an easy change to make.

If you are using the Smoke (FCP 7) shorticut profile yo ushould be able to use the Pen button to open the Contextual menus.

Keep in mind that in Smoke you need to actually touch the tablet the pen to have a "click" registered.

Thanks.

I hope that the Wacom control panel can become available in a future version of Smoke.
