I've been working with the trial version of Smoke 2012 for the past week or so and things have been going pretty well. Until today...
For whatever reason, when I create a new project, Smoke crashes as soon as I try to work with any media that's been added to the edit desk. If I open an older project I have no problems with it.
I've uninstalled the software twice but I'm running into the same issue.
The error message I keep seeing in the Console is:
system_profiler : kCGErrorRangeCheck: On-demand launch of the Window Server is allowed for root user only.
Apr 24 17:11:56 : Tue Apr 24 17:11:56 FinalCut-Pro-2.local system_profiler : kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint() to catch errors as they are logged.

It sounds like a permissions issue, but it's odd that it cropped up all of a sudden. I tried repairing permissions but that didn't help.
