Any one know if there are plans to support Blackmagic with Smoke 2013? If not, consider this a feature request.

Thanks

I would also like to see that. It would be a smart move to support a variety of i/o devices if Autodesk is hoping to sway some users of other Mac editing apps their way.

Would be good for them to open it up for sure .... I'm hoping for kona LHI support ...... But I'm sure they will stick with the higher end boards/output devices that offer 4:4:4: out and 3G SDI so that you can output 2k and stuff like that.

In the booth at AJA, they were showing Smoke 2013 on an iMac using an IoXT... worked great. The Autodesk artist was blown away how snappy it was.

Smoke 2013 w/ Blackmagic would be the PERFECT WORKFLOW! Cut in a NLE of choice, color correct in Davinci Resolve, and Assemble in Smoke. C'mon Autodesk, then there would be no choice not to adopt it. I know you guys want to be everything to everybody, but Davinci Resolve has the color thing locked down in my opinion.

...Though I'm finding out that Blackmagic cards don't work so well with AVID either. What we really need is Resolve to run on AJA hardware; but that won't happen. I'd certainly pay more for that option.
