Hi all
Anyone know how you can make burn render from a particular frame ? It's painful having to tie up the nodes unnecessarily.

Cheers
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

If it is a softFX in the timeline, you can use the SHIFT keyboard shortcut to drag selection area which you could send to burn and it will only process the selection.

As for the desktop modules, normally burn processes the entire length of the duration set in the effect module.

Though I have never tried it myself, a suggestion is to place your time bar cursor on the frame that you want, say half-way into the duration and press BURN. I know that PROCESS starts rendering from the frame the time bar is parked on but its a stab in the dark.

Good luck!

Regards
Grant

Thanks for taking the time Grant.
Unfortunately parking at a frame and sending to Burn doesn't affect the duration. It is certainly something that should be added to the list of feature requests tho.
