Modular keyer as gap effect on smoke on mac?

Hi, unless I'm missing something theres not a way of applying a modular keyer setup as a gap effect in smoke on mac is there?

Regular keyer is accessable through axis, I'm wondering if theres a way of getting to the modular keyer that I've missed.

Reason being I'm trying to apply a grade/treatment to each shot of a music video which includes a diffusion effect created using modular keyer, hoping to avoid having to break out an action setup for each individual shot.

There is no way to have the MK as a gap effect....much like FlameFX. it would be nice, but since you are exploiting the uses of the MK, I doubt it would ever be implemented.

Hi,

The only way I can think of is to bring your clips onto the desktop and perform your key with the modular keyer. Than process the modular key with history. Drop the rendered result into the timeline.

This means that any tweaks or changes can be modified through history in the timeline.

Hope this helps!

Grant
