how to create a freeze frame in batch?

Hi everybody!

How would you create a freeze of a particular frame in batch to paint a clean plate?

And maybe someone would share some tips on creating and painting a clean plates also )))

if u use sapphire plugins, the easiest way is to use S-Temporal> Get Frame and select the particular frame u wud like to freeze

thanks for the tip, but maybe there is some plugin-free way of doing it using the native tools?

how would you deal with the clean plates in batch usually? creating and painting it at the desktop and then getting into?

2012x1 has some still frame functions with new mix and time warp nodes.
You can also use Action to slip the frame you want and lock front.

Don't forget about the new functionality of the MUX node which allows you to choose the in and out and repeat start and end frame, I use this with batch paint if I am creating clean plates and then set my out point to one frame an cache my strokes, this dramatically speeds up render times

Hi! Would be good to use it, but I cannot find this options in the MUX node.
It has just hide input and output connections buttons. Also cannot find it in the manual...
I'm working on 2012 sp2, is it ext1 specific?

I think it is exclusive to Ext1

select the clip you wish to freeze , select BASIC and then click Lock frame on the frame you wish to freeze, this will turn this clip into a still frame.
