Averaging keyframes

Hi guys!

How to average keyframes in Smoke?

In particular case I have a camera from an analyzer node and it did it best, but there's still some jitter in a part of a movement when the subject crossing the frame.

As far as I understood I can select particular keyframes in the fbx camera animation and average them to reduce jitter, the only question how )))

Thank you!

hi

in animation select the camera/position channels
on the right side of the channels window you find a blue pulldown with an average option
select this & adjust the number next to it
you should see the channels interactively straightening ...

on the other hand, im not sure, if this will give you the desired result for your issue -
camera trackings seem to be much more complex than 2d tracks (obviously ;-)) - & playing around with the curves after the analysis may give completely messed up results ...
still it may be worth a try

It was a bit more tricky to find it, but actually you're absolutely right - it's far more complex to adjust the 3d cam this way ))) In this particular case it was actually the opposite case - camera was shaking a bit more then the tracker was able to pick it's motion up.

Thank you!

To average a channel:
Select a channel or group of keyframes.
In the Curve Functions box in the Keyframe tab, select Average.
In the Curve Value field, specify a value.
The jitter is removed from the spline animation.
