TimeWarp inside Action possible?
on Jul 7, 2011 at 11:14:43 am

Hello again. I was wandering if there is a way to timewarp a clip inside the action compositor. Thank you in advance.

You can try using an expression in the slip channels.

But I find it much easier to just slomo a clip on the timeline, bring it to the source area and reload it into action.

Hello again. Thanks for you help. I tried the TW soft effect on the timeline and here is the problem that came up. I have a clip and it's alpha channel. I drop the clip on the timeline and apply an Axis soft effect to bring in the matte, then TW it and process. Drop the timewarped clip in the source area. Select Action, Front/Back/Matte I select the timewarped clip as Front, the background I want to use as Back and again the TW'd clip as matte but unfortunately I get no alpha channel in Action. Any suggestions? Thanks again
