Hey Guys,

I am working in Smoke on Mac and have a question in the paint module. I have footage that has a gradient grey background (shot live action) and there are some inconsistencies that I want to smooth out. I am using the clone tool to fix the problem which works great, but only for one frame! How do I make the cloned paint last for the entire clip?

Thanks!

sam

What you need to use is Auto Paint. Auto Paint is an extremely powerful tool.
Basically, you record your paint strokes. They process it onto the clip. If you want the same paint stroke to be applied to every frame, you shorten the duration of the paint stroke to 1. (the default is the length of the clip.)
