I am freeelancing at a shop that has a Final Cut Suite (latest) with a 12 core MacPro, Quadro fx4800, and Kona 3G. Everything works well and all outputs on the Kona 3g seem fine.
My clients have downloaded Smoke on a trial basis.
Smoke seems to work great however we can not get video out of the HDMI output on the Kona 3G. Is there a special trick to this? Currently using the training footage that comes with the Smoke demo which is 1920x1080. Tried a few different flat screen monitors (all consumer) with hdmi inputs. No luck. Played around with the AJA control panel, no luck.
And now we have downloaded the Smoke 2012 demo and still nothing on the Kona 3G hdmi output. We can use the DVI out on the broadcast monitor setting and that does work for the second edit monitor. But the objective is to get the Kona 3g to show up on the wall monitor via hdmi.
Did search the forums and the web. Could this be a NON supported feature? Seems odd. Thanks.
