Mounting a Mac OS X share on Smoke/Flame
on Apr 4, 2011 at 1:07:32 am

On the page: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/ser...id=15481648&siteID=123112

They issue the following command:
mount -t cifs -o username=,password=,uid=smoke_2011*,gid=100 /// /mnt/mac_mount

1) is the userid and groupid shown in the above command from the etc/passwd on the mac that has the share? Or is that the user/group ids from the local linux box you are running smoke off of.

2) They say they support the lfs command for transfers over 2GB. Where do you put that lfs switch in?

3) Is the asterisk after the user id necessary or is there some wildcard use I am unaware of.

Thanks
