Timeline audio sync
on Jan 16, 2011 at 8:35:06 am

When playing audio in a timeline (1080i_29.97 DF or NDF) the audio drifts off sync and when I stop and restart playing it is in sync again. Any suggestions?

Note that in the player the green and green bar are not drifting.

The timeline is from an XML conform from FCP. Any idea ?? Thanks

Are you using a Kona 3 card for sync? or Free Sync?

I'm using the K3 as free sync as there's nothing plug in on inputs. This should not be a problem as my workflow is all file base, no need to sync to any external deck/devices.

The problem describe above is present wether i use K3/free sync or no K3 with core audio

Either set up above works fine with the exception of XML import.

Hi
I get this issue when I switch resolutions in the Smoke (on Mac) in preferences without restarting. I find that if I exit smoke and then restart in the correct resolution it works fine!
