Can someone describe the term 'Highend Finishing in Smoke for Mac' and what the process entails? I saw it on the Autodesk website but it does not go into detail. I need to be able to describe and sell it to my boss properly.
What it means is that you have all the tools at your fingertips to go beyond conforming an offline and take a project to another level - which is especially great in client and/or deadline driven sessions. Smoke is so great because it has tons of fix it post tools like paint, tracking and fantastic keying built into the system with no outsourcing and round-tripping required. It also has a solid stereo tool set built in as well as a 3D compositor that is fast and highly interactive. You should point your boss to Grant Kay's excellent blog and show him/her all the amazing things you can do with Smoke.
