Smoke on Mac and Cineform format

Hi,

Anyone know if Smoke on Mac will read Cineform Quicktime clips, especially the Cineform Neo3D stereoscopic clips ?

Am trying to if there is a way to edit in FCP with Cineform Neo3D and then export the edited timeline via XML to Smoke on Mac for finishing with its stereoscopic tools.

Hi

Smoke does not support the Cineform codec or any variations of it.

As a Smoke on Mac and CineForm user I would love to hear the phrase "not yet". There are certain areas where Autodesk and CineForm could collaborate greatly being CineForm's 3D workflow the biggest one.

CineForm is a great, if not the best compressed post production codec and truly cross-platform. There are many who go the FCP/CineForm3D path because it's incredibly convenient. Smoke would fit very well here.

Please Autodesk make it happen.

Hans
