So can Smoke on Mac work when you have 2 DVI monitors connected to your Mac Pro?
I have read that it requires 1 monitor which is fine and I love the one monitor workflow but I want to have Resolve on the same system and it needs 2 monitors for the interface.

Will Smoke be able to just ignore the second monitor and play nicely?
I can't see me being able to disconnect the second monitor just cause I want to work in Smoke, so would hope this can be accommodated.

A quick and easy way round this, without disconnecting the 2nd monitor, is to set your second monitor to mirror and then shut off the second display.

Yes it works fine. There are a few weird issues when you cross the line between them (they seem to be only visual glitches), but so far that hasn't been an issue. It does the same as cmd+tab to switch to other apps while Smoke is running.
