Trying to start Smoke on Mac Demo, there are no volumes listed and no prompt to create new project.
I've looked all over and can't find the solution to that problem.

If you don't have a volume, you cannot create a project. At least that is how it is in the Linux world.
Are you sure you have a properly formatted volume?

I'm not sure what Smoke considers a volume. I have many hard drives on the Mac including one 8 drive Raid. How do I point to that has a volume?

I know for the Mac, Smoke prefers an HFS+ volume.

Also, did you run the Smoke Setup utility? That is where you setup your storage. The setup utility is located in "Applications / Autodesk / Smoke 2010 / Utilities"
