Smoke 2k DI Doesn't Display 4:4:4

This is a similar question to another post but mine is for the new Linux Box. After reading all the Docs and Hardware configs I've come to the conclusion that Smoke 2k DI fully loaded can ingest 4:4:4 Rgb and output 4:4:4 Rgb to a Deck via the Kona 2k board. BUT, and this is a big BUT, can by no means display a true 4:4:4 signal on your very expensive Dual link Reference monitor while you are working. So essentially while your data may be 4:4:4 you are looking at it as 4:2:2 and YUV to boot!!!

Someone Please tell me I'm wrong and there is some hidden setting in a config file somewhere that kicks the Miranda DVI ramp2 into a dual link RGB mode.

The only Docs I could find that had dual link HD-SDI cables going to a Ref monitor where for luster, every thing else including flame were all single link.

Anyone? Ideas? Please.....

Hate to confirm your suspicions, but I just got off the phone with discreet today. The DVI ramp output is 4:2:2 ONLY. Dual-link 4:4:4 comes out of the HDSDI ports on the Kona Xena only.
