Mastering question regarding dual layer discs
on Jun 20, 2011 at 8:16:59 pm

Hi all,
It was my understanding that using encore I would be able to export a digital master (DDP) which could be sent to a replication facilility instead of the old system of using DLTs. Am I correct in thinking this, and is it possible with a dual-layer dvd? It's not as clear as it could be in the help section. Just want to check before I start building the whole project in Encore.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi ,

Yes You are correct , DDP images can be created from encore and can be sent for replication.

You can also create DDP for dual layer projects . In This DDP Image will have two folders for different layers .

Select DDP image from encore build panel and create DDP from project , DVD folder or DVD image .
If you want to set any copyright protection create DDP image from project itself.

Thanks
Minu
