I use the Lacie D2 Blu-ray external burner. It supports dual-layer blu-ray burning, connects via Firewire or USB, and is compatible with Mac and PC. I purchased mine from B&H but you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

Encore CS3 does not support burning to dual-layer (50 GB) Blu-ray discs.

Encore CS4 does support this.

Anyone else that have good experience with the lacie external burner? Is there any other external drives that works for people??

I´m buying a external bluray burner myself, and would love to hear more on this!
