saving files
on Sep 5, 2008 at 5:41:53 pm

I'm a new user to Encore, and I have a question regarding the file saving process. While doing a project, I like to back up my project (just in case somethin happens), so I generally do multiple saves. In my Aftereffects projects for example, I have multiple versions as saves (ie: projectV1, ProjectV2 etc).

I tried doing the same in Encore, and realized that each project is taking up a huge amount of discspace.

Does Encore copy all the files into a new folder when you ask it to 'save as'? If so, if I delete my previous project saves, will it effect the last version of my project?

I'm happy with my finalized version and want to get rid of the other previous versions I've saved on my disc. If I do this, will I risk damaging my current project file?

Thanks for the help, best regards.
