Creating Hidden Menus

Is it possible to create hidden menus in Encore?

I was thinking I could probably just make buttons that blend into the background and not give them any highlight properties, but is there any other way to do it?

For example, I've seen some DVD's that have special hidden sections but in order to get to them you have to hit a combination of buttons to access it. (example: Left, Up, Right, Left, Down, Enter) Would this just be a series of "dead buttons"? Or how else would this be achieved?

Much thanks.

You want to create an easter egg.

Usually, this is either done with a subpicture-only button (no other layers, or all other layers hidden in the Layers panel, which means the button is not visible until it is selected), that links to whatever material you want the finder to get to.

Depending on how complex it is to be, you may want to limit access to the button by limiting which other buttons will route to it.

these might help you... if you only get audio and no video then you will need the "Techsmith codec" installed on your computer
