I have been doing a lot of DVD authoting for a corporation lately, and a lot of these guys are actually seeing DVDs on projectors through laptops.
My question is: Is there any particular issues with always encoding in Progressing format anymore ?
From what I understand, the majority of DVD players (Progressive or standard) will convert to interlaced. Is there an actual loss of quality in those cases? And how far back do you have to go to find DVD player that doesn't support progressive content.
