I thought this would be easy -- and perhaps I am making it too difficult.

I'd like the user to be able to play my DVD in his computer, and access a deinterlaced video and any of several .pdf files via a menu.

Do I need to use something like eDVD4 for this? or is it something that Encore can do on its own? Encore does not seem to recognize .pdf files as assets.

If I need eDVD4, is there an Encore-specific tutorial available?

eDVD4 tells me I need to "select the VIDEO-TS folder to which you will add the enhanced content, and specify the default window size and skin file that the Interactual Player will use when the project is played." A skin file for a .pdf file?

I have been very successful with making DVD Images inside Encore, so I can burn them on a separate, very "clean" computer. Does the use of eDVD4 preclude my taking that path?

On a related point: when preparing a DVD for computer playback, are there some guidelines or tricks I should know about?

Thanks for any enlightenment.

Sorry -- never mind. I should have searched via google before posting -- plenty of tutorials out there.
