Bad news: we didn't notice this when we shot in Berlin, Germany. But in post its clear as a bell: we have 'zebra stripes' running horizontally throughout all our footage shot indoors in workshops and offices and outdoors in market stalls where neon overhead lights were in use. Does anyone have experience correcting this in post? And does anyone know how to bypass this issue in future shoots?

Thanks so much - looked at their website and sample footage/results and looks like it may well do the trick. Any thoughts on how to avoid this in future?

Your shutter speed is mismatching with the flicker rate of the fluorescent lights. There are a hundred articles out there explaining why this happens, so I won't try to explain it here--go do a bit of Googling about fluorescent lights, framerates, and shutter speeds.

Once you understand it, bookmark this tool and use it when planning shoots: http://www.red.com/tools/flicker-free-video
