B camera to match Sony F3

does anyone know of a camera that will match the picture of a sony PMW F3?
I have recently purchased one and am looking for a second camera which could be used as a camera B and be edited between them. im looking for something cheeper and smaller, would the Sony NXCAM-HD series work for this, or maby a 5D?
any help will be great

thanks

If you buy a 5D Mark II, you'll also have to buy lenses, which won't be cheaper. Therefore, why not just buy an EX-1r, or even a used EX-1?

I'm able to match my 7D and a 5D MII to my EX-1. You just have to learn the settings and profiles to set it up correctly.

It all depends on what you mean by "match."
Still cameras can have alias/moire issues so you must watch for that.
You may want to use camera with APS-C rather than full sensor if that's important. That would be Canon 7D or 60D rather than 5D for example.
It sounds like matching shallow depth of field is your objective otherwise you could just use EX1r for example.
One of the future NXCAMs using the same sensor might be the best bet.

I reckon my 16 Gb cards give about 56 minutes shooting at 1920 X 1080i 25 frames. So extend from there and you'll get an idea.

On the second camera question I would certainly think one of the EX cameras would do the job.
If it's DOF you are worried about you can minimise this by ensuring that the iris is as wide open as possible (use the ND filters) and use as long a tele setting on the lens as possible.

A 64 GB sxs card will last 222 min. @ 1080 30.

As of today, I'd say this one would do nicely:

I know I want one and I'll make my EX1 my B-roll camera.
