Storing material shot on EX3

Hi,

I shot material on EX3 and now want to transfer rushes from drive to something which would be suitable for long term storage. Does anyone have advice on the best format to store rushes on. Thanks, Emma.

This is an often discussed topic. Go for the forum search option.
There are almost as many solutions as people. Myself I store BPAV folders on a hard disk drive and a DVD of highest quality (Verbatim). Blu-ray is also increasingly popular for long time storage.

Same here, separate hard drives for the BPAV files. Don't forget to transfer the complete BPAV file and name it whatever you like but start with BPAV on all of them. I suggest more than one drive, prices are down quite low now for storage and better to be safe.
