4x4 Graduating Filter

I have a Sony EX3 and a Redrockmicro mattebox that takes 4x4 filters. I want to purchase a 4x4 graduating filter to cut back on highlights in the sky. Can you recommend a brand? I've looked at Tiffen. What do you guys out there use?

tiffen

If you buy a .3 and a .6, you can put them together and have a .9

If you can only buy one, make it a .6

Sure Tiffen is the bomb- just be aware of potential IR contamination, which an ND filter can increase.

Be aware that there are hard edged grads and soft edged grads.
The hard edge grads are usually better for telephoto lenses and the soft edge are better for W/A use. When in doubt, go with the soft edged grad

You could buy a set of soft edge N3, N6, N9; a hard edge set of N3, N6 & N9; a soft edge set of blue N3, blue N6 & blue N9 plus hard edge blue N3, blue N6, blue N9 plus, plus, plus, plus...
