Footloose

Happy New Year to Al! I am doing a mock footloose shoot next week with my ex1. Specifically, I will be trying to recreate the scene where Kevin Bacon dances by himself in a near empty warehouse. Similar to the original scene, I will have access to a large empty warehouse with natural lighting coming in from the windows (very low lighting). Any ideas on which setting I should use for a low lighting, fast moving dance scene? Should I shoot 24p or 60? Should i up the shutter speed? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Neil

Hi Jay-

If you want the camera to give you the most film-like look, then I recommend the following settings:

1080p
24fps
shutter ANGLE 180 degrees
gain 0 or -3
CINE 1

Of course expermenting is the best way to get the look you're after, but if you don't have time, then this is a start :o)

Also, don't forget to kick off your Sunday shoes. Sorry but I couldn't resist.
