I apologize in advance for the possible silliness of the question. I assume that a master page is a formatted page (example a page with two columns) where I can import text from a file. The text will flow in the two columns and will continue to flow into the next pages, always in two columns and (hopefully) the pages will replicate themselves (in two columns) until the text is exhausted.
I attempted to follow the tutorial but (my deficiency) without success. If anyone can reply I will be grateful
Put the two column text frame on your master page. Then, on your first document page (with nothing selected), choose Place, select your text file, hover over the text frame on the document page, hold the Shift key, and click inside the frame. It will add pages as needed, putting the text in the double column. Hope that helps!
