After numerous tests, patches and calls with Adobe, we learned that CS2 Premium Studio installs with problems within 10.4.5.
I installed all in 10.4.4 and most was ok, but GoLiveCS2 and InDesignCS2 didn't even install. So, I did a Desktop install (by using the Disk Utility and creating four disk images from each of the four installer disks) and it installed the two apps that had been missed.
Two other people had 10.4.5 already installed and Photoshop CS2 and InDesign CS2 would always crash. We tried everything we could find and even what Adobe suggested but to no avail.
So, we downgraded the system and went to 10.4.3 Panther, installed CS2 suite, then upgraded the system to 10.4.5 and all is well.
Just in case others start having this problem. Adobe is working on the issue.
So, in review, if you're already on 10.4.5 and haven't installed CS2 software yet, you will most likely run into problems when you install CS2 so re-install from your System Disk (just use the Previous System option) and you should be good to go.
