I need to buy a I/O device to one of my video edit setup. After all the research i've made the Utrastudio 4K Thunderbolt2 is my 98% sure to be my choice.
I run Premiere or Final Cut on MacPro (late 2013) and my output monitor is a EIZO CX271 connected trough HDMI as second monitor (but I only use it as final output).
My work is mostly editing in 4K timelines from Sony FS7 MXF.
Does the Ultrastudio OUTPUT do real time down convert to 1080p HDMI?
That would save a lot of time not to make the down convert trough software.
Will the Ultrastudio 4K accelerate MXF hardware decoding? Or that is only the GPU work?
