I have a potential upcoming project where it is a live event of a panel against a greenscreen background. We typically shoot these in a studio and then key it afterwards. However, for this project my client would like to have the audience see a feed from the main camera where it has the master wide shot keyed out with our virtual background in place. They want to show the audience how the final product compares to the "studio-type shoot".
I know there are very high-end switchers that can do this and allow me to even edit on the fly from the multiple cameras we will be recording on, but I'm really only looking to send the feed from one main camera during the event and have the 3d video background keyed in. I plan to edit the remaining cameras in post. Can anyone provide suggestions on the best hardware solution to achieve this goal? Thanks alot!
