I shoot handheld, but it looks like blackmagic is totally not equipped for a handheld shoot. Does anyone know is there very small video assist that I can mounted on the body of the cam and used it just like a flip screen on those HDVs etc? would value your help

kindly,

Vassily

The back of the cinema camera also doubles as a 5" LCD viewfinder and has things like focus assist built it. But you can also get rails and handles and other attachments, or get a pre-made kit like the ARRI one.

Chad, that's the problem the screen is built in, and not flexible, so when shooting hand held it is practically useless (as compared to versataility of any cam with a flip LCD)-- looks like the designers really did not think of this one well--
