 | Intermittent Popping in audio monitors from Blackmagic Intensity Pro
on Nov 30, 2012 at 1:46:32 am |
Anybody deal with this? If I launch an application with an audio record function (in this case, Camtasia 2.2) I get loud pops in my audio monitors that continue even after I close the application in question. I installed the latest drivers to make sure I was current, but that did nothing. I've seen it suggested that I should uninstall the blackmagic drivers, but I am unable to figure out how to even go about doing that in OSX Mountain Lion. I've read that a utility for this purpose exists, but I cannot find it anywhere on Blackmagic's website. Thanks.

Hi Ed,
To uninstall the Blackmagic driver open up the 9.6.8 .dmg file. In there you will see the option to uninstall Blackmagic.
Hope this helps!

Ed, I'm having the same problem with my Thunderbolt Intensity Shuttle. Three rounds of updated drivers haven't solved the issue.
