We've been working with a blackmagic solution for a while now for live video production that is an end-to-end 720p60 workflow. However, we've run into problems when live streaming our video over the internet due to the high framerate.
Ideally, we want to capture full quality at 60fps AND capture at 30fps for re-broadcast to the web. Doing this on separate boxes with separate cards is definitely an option for us, but I haven't been able to find much in terms of hardware support for capturing and down-converting the 60fps input to 30fps (or lower). Since we are working with live streams, software conversion doesn't really seem to cut it, though this is an option as well if we can get a solution that can reliably perform a conversion in realtime for live broadcasting.
We've tried xsplit and while this seems to work for the down-conversion, we get some severe audio-desyncing.
Does any one have any suggestions on how we can achieve this?
