Pro Tools video out through BlackMagic PCIe
on Jan 8, 2010 at 12:29:38 pm

Hello, i need some help.

I work on a dubbing studio and i'm a real rookie in this business. My system is this one:

Mac Pro dual Quad core 2.8
Pro Tools 8.0 LE with DV Tool Kit
Digi 002 Rack
BlackMagic Design Intensity 3.2

On my work I usually capture, with FCP, the video with 4audio channels from the Betacam Player and import it to Pro Tools. then on Pro Tools i send the video through PCIe to my external TV and to the microphone room. The rest is not important.

So, in this particular case, on my ProTools session i can import the video, and i see the video on Pro Tools video window but when I send it out through PCI (thing that i need) the video is not visible on my external TV.

My Blackmagic is connected to my TV through S-Video Out and through Composite Out to the Mic Room.

The Pro Tools session and the video were sent by the client.
The video format is Muxed MPEG1, 320x220px.

What must I do to see the video through S-Video or Composite Out? Do I need to change any preference in the BlackMagic preferences? Can it be any problem with the PT session or preference. Does the PT or BlackMagic PCI card support this MPEG1 format?

I would appreciate any kind of help...

Thanks!
